喙嘴翼龍亞目（Rhamphorhynchoidea）又名喙嘴龍亞目，是翼龍目兩個亞目之一，代表翼龍目的原始階段。喙嘴翼龍亞目是並系群，翼手龍亞目從喙嘴翼龍類演化而來，而非更直系的共同祖先。因為喙嘴翼龍亞目並非完全自然的生物群，大多數科學文獻並不使用此名詞並，但還是被某些翼龍專家用在大眾作品裡，例如大衛·安文（David Unwin）在2006年的《The Pterosaurs: From Deep Time》一書[1][2]。喙嘴翼龍類是第一批出現的翼龍類，出現於晚三疊紀的諾利階[3]。大多數喙嘴翼龍類有牙齒與長尾巴，大多數物種缺乏冠飾，這些特點不像牠們的的翼手龍類後代，但幾個喙嘴翼龍類有由軟組織如角質所形成的冠飾。喙嘴翼龍類通常較小，牠們的手指仍然用來攀抓。
在侏儸紀末期，喙嘴翼龍類幾乎消失。蛙嘴龍科的樹翼龍，仍生存於白堊紀早期。發現於中國東北道虎溝化石層的悟空翼龍科，同時保有早期喙嘴翼龍類、晚期翼手龍類的特徵；關於道虎溝化石層的地質年代，多數研究認為是侏儸紀晚期，少數研究認為是白堊紀早期[4][5]。由於道虎溝化石層是跨越多時期的地層，橫跨時期可能從侏儸紀中期到白堊紀晚期。
