國際標準化組織

國際標準化組織（英文：International Organization for Standardization，簡稱ISO）成立於1947年2月23日，「ISO」的總部設於瑞士日內瓦，其成員包括130個會員國。是製作全世界工商業國際標準的各國標準機構代表的國際標準建立機構。該組織自我定義為非政府組織，官方語言是英語、法語、俄語。參加者包括各會員國的標準機構和主要公司。
中華民國是ISO創始國之一，但因未按章交會費而在1950年被停止會籍。目前台灣不是ISO成員，但中華民國《中華民國國家標準》通常仍有參考ISO標準。
中華人民共和國在1978年9月1日以中國標準化協會的名義參加ISO，並在1982年9月當選並連任理事國(1983年--1994年）。1985年和1989年分別改由中國國家標準局和中國國家技術監督局參加。2001年起，在ISO代表中華人民共和國的會員機構是國家標準化管理委員會。
香港是ISO通訊成員。澳門已獲同意成為ISO通訊成員但還未加入。
國際標準化組織與負責電子設備標準的國際電工委員會(IEC)密切合作。
國際標準化組織(ISO)的國際標準以號碼表示。例如，ISO 11180:1993的11180是標準號碼，而1993是出版年份。

因為中文不是國際標準化組織的官方語言，所以ISO標準沒有正式中文名稱。
