尼羅瑟提斯桌山群Nilosyrtis Mensae)是一個位於火星卡西乌斯区的區域,中心座標36.87°N,67.9°E。該區域的西緣和東緣經度分別是51.1°E和74.4°E。而它的北緣和南緣緯度則分別為36.87°N和29.61°N[1]。尼羅瑟提斯桌山群位於普羅敦尼勒斯桌山群正東方,且兩者都位於火星南北分界線上。這個橫跨705公里的區域於1973年以火星古典反照率特徵命名。

地形與地質[编辑]

尼羅瑟提斯桌山群的表面被分類為銳蝕地形(fretted terrain)。這樣的地形包含了懸崖、台地和寬廣的平底峽谷,一般相信它是由被岩屑覆蓋的冰河造成[2][3][4]。這些冰河在周圍是山丘和台地時被稱為舌狀岩屑坡(Lobate debris aprons) [5][6][7][8]。當冰河在峽谷內時則被稱為線狀谷底沉積(Lineated valley fill)[9][10][11][12]
