布紋螺科（Colubrariidae），又名草人螺科[1]:50，是一个新腹足目中的科，其中的动物全部是海生的小型到中型的螺。它们生活在热带和温带海域。至今为止所知的所有这个科里的动物寄生在鱼的身上吸血为生。
特征[编辑]
布紋螺科的螺很坚固，大多为长椎形，可达5厘米。在整个螺体上有一个凸起的部分。螺体上的纹路沿螺旋和轴线交叉呈网状。螺的开口卵状，比较小。螺盖有一个核。
布紋螺科动物的齒舌很小或者完全没有。食道的中部很长有腺。胃很简单，只是一个袋子，说明它们只用液体食物。
生活方式和分布[编辑]
布紋螺科动物生活在热带和温带海洋里。至今为止已知的是它们在鱼休息的时候用可以伸长到比它们的身体还要长的吸管吸取鱼的血。这个生活方式首先是在寄生在鸚哥魚上的Colubraria obscura发现的。后来发现其它种也在鹦哥鱼上寄生，并有照片为证。此外还发现有些鱼明显被麻痹，因此估计这些螺可以产生麻醉剂，此外估计它们还可以生产抗凝剂来帮助它们吸血。

布紋螺科是峨螺超科（Buccinoidea）的六个科之一，它分三个属：
