新仙女木事件

新仙女木事件，也就是导致全球气候进入新仙女木期的事件。这一事件大约发生在距今12800年时，在此之前地球处于温暖的间冰期。新仙女木事件发生非常突然，至今仍未有足够的证据证明其发生的原因。比较流行的假说是彗星撞击地球导致温度下降。[1]
