福里曼·威利斯·克勞夫茲(1879年6月1日-1957年4月11日)是愛爾蘭的一名推理作家,他於1920年推出的《桶子》,同年謀殺天后阿加莎·克里絲蒂推出《史岱爾莊謀殺案》,兩人因此被稱為推理小說黃金時期的推手。

福里曼·威利斯·克勞夫茲出生於愛爾蘭的一個小農場,父親是隨軍的外科醫生,在克勞夫茲出世前就已經逝世,母親後來與一位牧師再婚。克勞夫茲17歲開始接觸鐵路工程,1900年成為了地區的工程師,克勞夫茲的工程師身分一直至1929年。克勞夫茲的寫作生涯始於1919年,他因為大病被逼放下鐵路工程的工作,這段時期寫了他的第一本小說,他於1920年發表了《桶子》,《桶子》出版後旋即獲得空前暢銷,此後幾乎每年克勞夫茲都寫一本小說,另加一些短篇小說和戲劇
