羅素·班克斯

羅素·班克斯(Russell Banks) ，1940年3月28日生於牛頓市麻薩諸塞州，是美國的小說家和詩人。他是國際寫作家議會(the International Parliament of Writers)主席與美國藝術暨文學學會會員。
其文學作品已被翻譯逾二十種語言，並獲得無數的文學獎項。代表的作品有：《大陸漂移》(Continental Drift)、《骨頭的規則》（Rule of the Bone）、《拆雲者》(Cloudsplitter)、《意外的春天》 (The Sweet Hereafter)與《苦難》(Affliction)。最後的兩本書皆被改編為同名電影。
