出身及职业生涯[编辑]

Iyaz于1987年生于英属维京群岛托尔托拉岛，成长于音乐世家。[1]Iyaz在新英格兰理工大学攻读数字记录并开始录制音乐，并在加勒比地区电台中取得成功。[1]2008年，尚恩·金斯顿在MySpace上看到了Iyaz的个人页面，[2]并邀他同Time Is Money/贝尔卢加高地唱片公司签约。金斯顿将他引荐给制作人J·R·罗特姆（J. R.
