谷歌眼镜（Google Project Glass）是谷歌的一个研发项目。这一项目开发用于增强现实的头戴式显示器（Head-mounted display, HMD）。[2] 研发的产品（Google Glass）将会在2013年早些时候发布。[3]谷歌眼镜于2013年2月21日面向美国用户接受预定。[4]
Google Glass的预期目的，是希望用眼镜取代智能手机的屏幕，并且允许使用自然语言来与互联网交互。Google Glass所使用的操作系统将是Android。[5]
Google Glass由Google X 实验室负责。[6]这一实验室还研发包括Google Driverless Car在内的许多充满未来感的项目。

尽管头戴式增强现实显示器已不是新鲜的概念，这一项目还是引起了媒体的广泛关注，[7]主要是由于这是Google的项目，也因为原型看起来比以往的头戴式显示器更小更薄。[8]第一个演示更像是一副镜片由抬头显示器取代的普通眼镜。[9]在未来，新设计可以把显示器集成入普通眼镜。[10][5]
这一产品在2012年4月开始测试。[11]谢尔盖·布林在2012年4月5日在旧金山举行的Foundation Fighting Blindness活动上佩戴了这一产品。[12][13]
《纽约时报》报道此眼镜将在2012年底与消费者见面。[14]但有人认为不会很快可供购买。[15][16][17]
Google已经为这一产品申请了专利。[18]
2012年6月27日，谢尔盖·布林在Google I/O大会上演示了这一产品。[19]

Android4.0.3版本（可能在未來更高），相當於8英吋的距離觀看25吋大小的介面螢幕比為16:9，500萬畫素的照相機以及720p的攝影機，支持無線網路 802.11b/g（WiFi和藍芽）但不支持802.11n，內建為16GB的記憶體（ROM）如果包含作業系統能使用的記憶體只有12GB，語音辨識的麥克風和傳導聲音的耳機為骨傳導式，塑膠框模組化設計，可以使用專用充電器也可以使用USB充電（micro USB）。[20]
曾說明解析度為640*360，但官方並沒有公布此條目，不能確定。只說電池電力能撐過一天的時間，但沒有清楚說明電量等，不能確定續行的準確時間。
