长鼻目（学名：Proboscidea） 是哺乳动物一个目，只包含一个现存生物的科，象科，即大象。包括普通非洲象 (Loxodonta africana)、非洲森林象 (Loxodonta cyclotis)和亚洲象（Elephas maximus）三个物种。
在冰川期有很多现已灭绝的物种， 包括与大象相似的猛犸(長毛象)、乳齿象、恐象、铲齿象、變齒象。 已知的最早的长鼻目动物是Pilgrimella，以及後來的始祖象。
