鮭脂鯉屬（學名Alestes）是非洲脂鯉科下的一屬，只分佈在非洲。鮭脂鯉屬是臼脂鯉屬（Myletes）的異名，但臼脂鯉屬此學名已不再使用。^[1]在乍得湖內，鮭脂鯉屬及狗脂鯉屬會被煙燻成一種食物。^[2]
