描述	Deutsch: Ein New Yorker U-Bahn-Wagen vom Typ R36 führt einen Zug der Linie 1 an. Die blau-silberne Farbgebung entsprach dem neuen Corporate Design, das die MTA 1968 eingeführt und 1981 schließlich wieder fallengelassen hatte wegen der hohen Kosten für das Umlackieren der Fahrzeuge. Die Wagenfarbe war durch Graffiti und starke Verschmutzung ohnehin oft gar nicht zu erkennen. Der Ort der Aufnahme ist die 125th Street Station. English: An R36 type New York City Subway car leading a 1 train, September 1973. The blue/silver paint scheme represented the MTA's new corporate identity, which was introduced in 1968 and finally scrapped in 1981 due to its high cost for repainting all the cars. Moreover the car's actual paint scheme was covered by graffiti and dirt over and over. The location of this photography is the 125th St. Station.
