Google光纤（英语：Google Fiber）是Google公司在堪萨斯州的堪萨斯城和密苏里州的堪萨斯城试点光纤通信建造高速互联网基础设施的一项实验性项目。[1][2]逾1100个社区为成为首拨试点进行申请。[3]2011年3月，Google宣布堪萨斯州的堪萨斯城将成为Google光纤的首个试验城市。[4]
2012年7月，在完成了网络设施的铺设后，Google宣布了体验Google光纤项目的定价。这项服务将会提供三种不同的选项，包括一个免费的互联网接入的选项，每月70美元的1Gbps互联网选项，另外还有一个包含电视服务的每月120美元的选项。网络服务的选项中包含Google云端硬盘扩至1TB，电视服务选项包含可将1TB的数字视频录像机录像内容导入Google云端硬盘的功能。电视选项中，Nexus 7平板电脑还可称为客厅系统的遥控器，并可使直播内容在iPad或Android平板上进行播放。堪萨斯城的居民可向Google提出接受服务的预登记，最初的体验者将会在这些进行申请的社区中产生。[5]

2012年愚人节，Google光纤宣布他们的产品并不是什么光纤网络，而是一种可食用的纤维素。在陈述中，Google Fiber食用纤维被描述为可提供“身体所需的用以维持活性、能量和动力”。[7]
