HD 20782和另一個恆星HD 20781組成聯星系統，而這兩顆恆星各有行星環繞。成員星中的伴星HD 20781和HD 20782之間的角距離高達252角秒，相當於9080天文單位[1]。HD 20782的年齡大約是71 ± 4億年，質量接近太陽。2006年在主星HD 20782旁宣布發現系外行星 [2][3]。2011年在伴星HD 20781旁發現兩顆低質量的系外行星[4][5]。
