Mini DisplayPort是一個微型版本的DisplayPort。由蘋果公司於2008年10月14日發表。現在應用於MacBook（取代先前的Mini-DVI）、MacBook Air（取代先前的Micro-DVI）與MacBook Pro（取代先前的DVI）筆記薄電腦中。亦應用於24吋的LED Cinema Display。
與DisplayPort一樣，Mini DisplayPort最高支持 2560×1600 解像度的顯示器。
蘋果公司發表的Mini DisplayPort同時也支援VGA跟DVI信號輸出，但需要加上轉換器。
於2008年11月27日，蘋果公司免費公開授權其他廠商開發Mini DisplayPort的有關產品。
2011年2月起，Apple新发布的Thunderbolt接口也开始兼容DisplayPort 1.1设备直接连在来Thunderbolt接口进行视频数据输出，Thunderbolt接口向下兼容Mini DisplayPort，且二者物理结构及针脚设计完全相同。但DisplayPort 1.1设备必须接在Thunderbolt链路的末端。
