亨利·弗莱彻·汉斯
亨利·弗莱彻·汉斯（Henry Fletcher Hance，1827年8月4日—1886年5月22日）英国外交官，他用业余时间在中国和香港研究植物。汉斯生于伦敦，1845年到香港任职公务员，后来历任英国驻黄埔副领事、驻广州署理领事、驻厦门署理领事，1886年在厦门去世。[1][2]
乔治·边沁1861年的《香港植物志》收录其植物研究[3]。1875年发表关于小花鸢尾（Iris speculatrix）文献[4][5]，在生物分类学有诸多贡献[6]，1857年贝特霍尔德卡尔·基曼将大戟科某一属植物命名为Hancea属（Hancea）[7]。
