联邦基金利率

在美国，联邦资金利率（Federal Funds Rate）为一家存托机构（多数是银行）利用手上的资金向另一家存托机构无担保借出隔夜贷款的利率。联邦基金利率是金融市场的重要基准之一。[来源请求][1]联邦资金利率即是美国各家银行间的银行同业拆息[2]，代表的是短期市场利率水准。
联邦基金有效利率（Effective Federal Fund Rate，EFFR) 为前一个工作日隔夜联邦基金交易的有效中位利率，由纽约联邦储备银行每日发布。[3]
联邦基金目标利率[编辑]
联邦公开市场委员会（Federal Open Market Committee，FOMC）会对联邦资金利率设定目标区间，称为联邦基金目标利率 (US Fed Funds Target Rate)。会议确定联邦基金目标利率，通常每年举行八次，相隔约七周。
当实际利率偏离目标利率，联邦储备局会透过公开市场操作，确保利率维持在此区间内，以此来影响美国经济的货币供应量。而要观察FOMC未来利率政策的调整方向，最好的指标便是FOMC会议后所发表的“政策声明”（Policy Statement）。
联邦基金目标利率会随着通胀率及产出偏离的波动变化而受到影响。
历史利率[编辑]
鉴于2021年—2023年通货膨胀飙升，美联储大幅提高了FFR。在 2022年下半年，联邦公开市场委员会连续4次将FFR上调75个基点，并在2022年的最后一次会议上将FFR进一步上调50个基点。美联储已经预示最早要到2024年才会降息。[4]

国际影响[编辑]
较低的联邦基金利率使得对中国或墨西哥等发展中国家的投资更具吸引力，高联邦基金利率使美国境外的投资吸引力降低。从2009年开始，联邦基金利率长期处于非常低的水平，导致对发展中国家的投资增加。随着美国在2015年底开始恢复到更高的利率，在美国的投资变得更具吸引力，对发展中国家的投资开始下降。该利率还影响货币的汇率，较高的利率会使美元升值，而使外国货币贬值。
