提赛德大学（英语：Teesside University） 是一座位于英国米德尔斯堡的大学。属于新大学。[7]
历史[编辑]
其历史最早可追溯到1844年创立的力学研究所（Mechanics' Institute），而大学建造提议则可追溯至1914年， 然而当地造船业资本家资助了四万英镑之后，进程依旧缓慢。1922年成立理事会，1924年康斯坦丁家族捐款八万镑。其工程学院大楼建筑由伦敦建筑师Graham R. Dawbarn设计建造。[9]
1930年7月2日开学的Constantine Technical College是该校的正式前身。1960年代之前受政治影响扩建缓慢。[10]
1970年代与Teesside College of Education合并，后称Teesside Polytechnic，1992年6月10日改称University of Teessidecame，成为刚刚成立的新大学之一。2009年改现名，并更换校徽。整个更名计划花费二万英镑。而当时其他的候选校名还有“Middlesbrough University”及“Tees Valley University”。[11]
