枝梗鞭菌屬是新美鞭菌門新美鞭菌科真菌的一屬，為到目前為止發現最晚的一屬，僅包含1種Cyllamyces aberensis。其學名來自威爾士語cylla（內臟）和古希臘語mykēs（真菌），指本屬最早發現於英國威爾士，和新美鞭菌門其他屬真菌一樣為生活在食草動物消化道內的真菌。其特徵是孢囊梗具分枝，故中文名為「枝梗鞭菌屬」。本屬後來在印度也有報道。^[2]
