盧加諾（義大利語：Lugano，意大利語發音：[luˈɡaːno]；德語：Lauis）是瑞士提契諾州的一個意大利語區城市，也是最南端的城市。人口63,583（2015年10月），面積26.2平方公里，是瑞士第九大城市，也是提契諾州最大的城市，同時也是意大利之外最大的意大利語聚集區。官方語言是意大利語。城市地處盧加諾湖，被盧加諾山脈所包圍。

地名由來和城市盾徽[編輯]

地名第一次記錄在804年，為Luanasco，在874年改為Luano，直至1189年才改為Lugano。德語中名詞變形為（不再使用） Lowens, Lauis, Lauwis ^[1]^[2]。該地名詞根由來已無法考究，可能變化來源於 lucus "grove"^[3]，來自通俗拉丁語 lakvannus "lake-dweller"^[4]和神話中Lugus^[5]。

市政的徽章圖案是 Gules，銀色十字在四個字母"L", "V", "G" 和 "A" (嚴格遵守這四個位置)。徽章圖案發源於大約1200年。這四個字母是 Lugano 的縮寫^[6]。
