聯邦基金利率

在美國，聯邦資金利率（Federal Funds Rate）為一家存托機構（多數是銀行）利用手上的資金向另一家存托機構無擔保借出隔夜貸款的利率。聯邦基金利率是金融市場的重要基準之一。[來源請求][1]聯邦資金利率即是美國各家銀行間的銀行同業拆息[2]，代表的是短期市場利率水準。
聯邦基金有效利率（Effective Federal Fund Rate，EFFR) 為前一個工作日隔夜聯邦基金交易的有效中位利率，由紐約聯邦儲備銀行每日發布。[3]
聯邦基金目標利率[編輯]
聯邦公開市場委員會（Federal Open Market Committee，FOMC）會對聯邦資金利率設定目標區間，稱為聯邦基金目標利率 (US Fed Funds Target Rate)。會議確定聯邦基金目標利率，通常每年舉行八次，相隔約七周。
當實際利率偏離目標利率，聯邦儲備局會透過公開市場操作，確保利率維持在此區間內，以此來影響美國經濟的貨幣供應量。而要觀察FOMC未來利率政策的調整方向，最好的指標便是FOMC會議後所發表的「政策聲明」（Policy Statement）。
聯邦基金目標利率會隨著通脹率及產出偏離的波動變化而受到影響。
歷史利率[編輯]
鑑於2021年—2023年通貨膨脹飆升，美聯儲大幅提高了FFR。在 2022年下半年，聯邦公開市場委員會連續4次將FFR上調75個基點，並在2022年的最後一次會議上將FFR進一步上調50個基點。美聯儲已經預示最早要到2024年才會降息。[4]

國際影響[編輯]
較低的聯邦基金利率使得對中國或墨西哥等發展中國家的投資更具吸引力，高聯邦基金利率使美國境外的投資吸引力降低。從2009年開始，聯邦基金利率長期處於非常低的水平，導致對發展中國家的投資增加。隨着美國在2015年底開始恢復到更高的利率，在美國的投資變得更具吸引力，對發展中國家的投資開始下降。該利率還影響貨幣的匯率，較高的利率會使美元升值，而使外國貨幣貶值。
