螽（ㄓㄨㄥ）斯科（英語：Tettigoniidae），一作螽（ㄓㄨㄥ）蟴，是直翅目昆蟲中的一科，又名蜙蝑、舂黍、𧐍𧑓。目前世界上已知的有6800多種。在分類學上和蟋蟀科關係很近。依種類而有數種不同的俗稱，例如蟈蟈、紡織娘、長角蚱蜢等等。

外形[編輯]

成蟲的身體呈扁或圓柱形，顏色多呈綠或褐色。偶爾亦會發現全身紅色或粉紅色的物種出現[1][2]，這種現象被稱為紅色過度（英語：erythrism）[2]。

成蟲的觸角一般長於身體（相比之下，短角亞目昆蟲的觸角則短的多，可以用來分別）。翅發達、不發達或消失。雄性有翅個體在前翅附近有發音器，通過左右兩翅摩擦而發音。前足在脛節基部有開/閉口的聽器。後足腿節發達，有4節跗節。產卵管呈劍狀或鐮刀狀。

螽斯具有發達的跳躍式後腳，當遇到危險時，通過快速彈跳逃避天敵。由於螽斯的體色多為綠色或褐色，有些種類外觀會擬態樹葉或枯葉，因此當牠們不鳴叫的時候，天敵較難發現牠們的行蹤。

共通點
  1. 生活史是經過卵─若蟲─成蟲三個階段，屬於不完全變態的昆蟲。
  2. 這一目昆蟲幼生期叫做若蟲，因為和成蟲在外觀上差異不大。
  3. 上翅平直覆蓋在體背上，下翅是膜質則縮摺在上翅之下，飛行的時候才會舒展開來。
  4. 有咀嚼式口器。
  5. 螽斯、蝗蟲的前、中腳比較細短，後腳則粗長結實。
  6. 螽斯、蝗蟲體色都是綠色、褐色系，在草叢中是很好的保護色。
差異處：
  1. 螽斯細長的觸角比身體還長·蝗蟲的觸角比較短。
  2. 螽斯多半是雜食性的，蝗蟲則是植食性的。
  3. 螽斯的後腳比較細長，蝗蟲則是比較粗壯。

俗稱為蟈蟈的昆蟲，是指本科包括中華螽斯（Tettigonia chinensis）在內的一些善鳴的雄蟲。另外本科的著名鳴蟲還有紡織娘（Mecopoda elongata，Linnaeus）。
