反對派武裝的攻勢[編輯]

10月8日，反對派武裝為爭奪邁阿賴努阿曼發動了一場攻勢。邁阿賴努阿曼緊鄰M5高速公路，具有重要的戰略位置。M5高速公路被來自大馬士革的政府軍增援力量用作馳援阿勒頗戰役的重要路線。這座城鎮之前在6月10日被反對派武裝攻占過一次，但在8月被政府軍奪回。[10]在當天夜裡，政府軍開始對該城進行空襲以試圖阻止反對派的進攻。[11]
