美以美會

美以美會（The Methodist Episcopal Church，1784年－1939年）是從1784年到1939年之間的一個基督教衛理宗的教派，從1784年到1844年是在美國的衛理公會所使用的宗派名稱，南北分裂後到1939年，是在美國北方的衛理公會所使用的宗派名稱。該會屬於基督新教的一個較大的宗派——衛理宗。

在美國本土

1784年12月24日，美國衛理公會（Methodist Episcopal Church）在馬里蘭州巴爾的摩成立。法蘭西斯·亞斯理（Francis Asbury）為首任會督。

以後經過數次分裂，形成美以美會、監理會、美普會、循理會和聖教會等。 其中最重要的一次分裂，就是1844年美國南北衛理公會因為黑奴問題大分裂，在美國南方的稱監理會（The Methodist Episcopal Church South），在美國北方的則稱美以美會（The Methodist Episcopal Church）。

1936年時，美以美會的總部在紐約第五大道（Fifth Avenue）150號。

1968年四月年議會，進一步合一，改稱 The United Methodist Church 聯合衛理公會。 in April 1968 in Dallas, Texas, the Uniting Conference brought together this family of churches that shares so much history. The Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church joined to form The United Methodist Church.
