赤紅山椒鳥（中國大陸、香港作赤紅山椒鳥，台灣作艷麗赤紅山椒，學名：Pericrocotus speciosus），是雀形目鵑鵙科的一種鳥類。[2]
特徵[編輯]
赤紅山椒鳥體重約23.3克，翼長約94.2毫米，嘴峰長約19.1毫米，喙寬度約6.2毫米，喙厚度約5.7毫米，跗蹠長約17.2毫米，尾長約87.6毫米。赤紅山椒鳥在其分佈區內為留鳥，其棲息在密集的高大樹木組成的森林中，食性為肉食性，主要食物來源是陸生無脊椎動物。[3]
亞種[編輯]
- P. s. speciosus：分佈於喜馬拉雅山（克什米爾至阿薩姆邦東部）；在印度北部越冬。
- P. s. semiruber：分佈於印度東南部至緬甸南部、泰國和印度支那北部。
- P. s. andamanensis：分佈於安達曼群島。
- P. s. fraterculus：分佈於印度東北部（布拉馬普特拉河以南的阿薩姆邦）、緬甸北部、中國南部（雲南、海南）和印度支那北部。
- P. s. fohkiensis：分佈於中國東南地區（湖南、福建、廣東和廣西）。
- P. s. flammifer：分佈於緬甸南部至泰國西南部和馬來半島北部。
- P. s. xanthogaster：分佈於南馬來亞、蘇門答臘、邦加島和勿里洞島。
- P. s. minythomelas：分佈於錫默盧島（蘇門答臘島外）。
- P. s. modiglianii：分佈於恩加諾島（蘇門答臘島外）。
- P. s. insulanus：分佈於婆羅洲。
- P. s. novus：分佈於菲律賓北部（呂宋島和內格羅斯島）。
- P. s. leytensis：分佈於菲律賓中部（薩馬島和萊特島）。
- P. s. gonzalesi：分佈於棉蘭老島北部和東部（菲律賓南部）。
- P. s. nigroluteus：分佈於南棉蘭老島（菲律賓南部）。
- P. s. johnstoniae：分佈於棉蘭老島（菲律賓南部）阿波山。
- P. s. marchesae：分佈於Jolo Group（蘇祿群島）。
- P. s. siebersi：分佈於爪哇島和峇里島。
- P. s. exul：分佈於龍目島（小巽他群島）。[4]
