	分布范围

倭狨（学名Callithrix (Cebuella) pygmaea）是生活在巴西西部、哥伦比亚西南、厄瓜多尔西部和秘鲁东部雨林冠层的一种猴类。它们是体型最小的灵长类动物之一，体长大约只有14到16厘米（除去约15到20厘米的尾巴）。雄性体重140克，雌性体重120克。树栖，群居。虽然在2003年发现了体型更小的新物种—倭狐猴，但倭狨仍然是最细小的猴类。

分类[编辑]

倭狨原分为西北侏狨（倭狨指名亚种，Cebuella pygmaea pygmaea）和Cebuella pygmaea niveiventris两个亚种，现Cebuella pygmaea niveiventris被提升为Cebuella niveiventris（东部倭狨）有效种。两种倭狨的分化时间约为2.54百万年前。^[2]
