台湾山鹧鸪（学名：Arborophila crudigularis），俗称深山竹鸡或红脚竹鸡，是台湾特有，也是唯一的雉科山鹧鸪属鸟类，其黑白分明的面纹明显有别于其他台湾的雉鸡。性隐蔽而机警，栖息于中低海拔的原生阔叶林底层，常三五成群活动[3]。
