坎卢普斯（英语：Kamloops）是加拿大卑诗省的一个城市。坎卢普斯辖区面积297.3 km² (114.8 sq mi)，都会区面积5,686.19 km² (2,195.5 sq mi)。该市辖区人口86,376，都会区人口92,882。“Kamloops”意为“河流交汇处”，来自印第安语“Cumcloups”，反映该市是位于汤普森河两条支流的汇合处。该市为卑诗省第8大城市。坎卢普斯为北美最大的花旗参产地。
历史[编辑]
坎卢普斯是于1811年建镇，起先是皮毛交易重镇，后来于1821年由哈德森湾公司接管。
1860年代的淘金热潮，带动了坎卢普斯的发展。例如1885年，从西部到达坎卢普斯的加拿大太平洋铁路建成。1893年，坎卢普斯正式建市。

卢普斯位于汤普森河谷和科迪勒拉山地生态区。市中心位于汤普森河南北支汇合处附近的山谷中。郊区沿着南北支路绵延十几公里，延伸到城市南部的陡峭山坡和较低的东北山坡。
Robert W. Service在 1904 年将坎卢普斯描述为他令人愉快的生活，并写道：“生活愉快，工作轻松。四点钟我们骑着马，越过起伏的山脊，或者进入上升到幽灵般的幽灵峡谷山。就像墨西哥的风景，诡异的荒凉和枯燥的忧郁。一片令人沮丧的土地，在它的疲惫中令人生畏，不甘于毁灭。”
