尺蛾科（学名：Geometridae），又名尺蠖蛾科[1]，是鳞翅目尺蛾总科之下的其中一个有庞大成员的科，下计有3.5万个物种[2]。幼虫叫尺蠖，又名蝍𧑙（音同“即蹴”）。
语源[编辑]
尺蛾科的学名Geometridae来自希腊语，由“大地”（γη 或 γαια）与“量度”（μέτρων）组成，因为其幼虫的移动形态就好像在丈量一样[2]。
