欧洲山芥中包含的化学物质有皂素类黄酮[1]芥子油苷[2][3]

病虫害抵御[编辑]

欧洲山芥可以抵抗大多数十字花科害虫(例如小菜蛾),其抗性来源自所含的皂素。[4][5][6][7]芥子油甙则可以吸引一些昆虫,因此会被种在农田周围,以免这些昆虫危害农作物。[8]
