比利牛斯鼬鼹，鼹科鼬鼹属的唯一一种，生活在南欧的比利牛斯山到伊比利亚半岛[2]。
成对聚居，体长11到16厘米，尾长12-16厘米。体重35-80克。平均寿命至少3.5年。
