猩猩亚科（Ponginae）属灵长目人科。史前曾存在若干属，现仅存红猩猩一属。[1][2][3]

猩猩亚科 Ponginae

早前曾被分类为猩猩亚科的大猩猩（Gorilla gorilla）、黑猩猩（Pan troglodytes） 以及倭黑猩猩（Pan paniscus）等因为在亲缘上与人类更接近而在后来被重新分类到人亚科之 中。
