Windows Mobile设备中心（英语：Windows Mobile Device Center）是一个微软所开发的同步化的操作系统内建软件，它取代了原本的Microsoft ActiveSync。它的功能是用来同步Windows Mobile与Microsoft Windows操作系统之间各种类型的资料，包括音乐、影片、联络人、日历、网页浏览器收藏夹等。Windows Mobile设备中心功能于Windows 10后不再内建此软件，需安装驱动程式才能激活。 微软现已不再支持 Windows 移动设备中心。
历史[编辑]
Windows Mobile设备中心开发的目的主要是取代原本适用于Windows Vista之前操作系统、用来同步基于Windows CE的设备且功能较不强大的“Microsoft ActiveSync”。2006年10月，这个软件首次发行beta版本，并允许和Windows Vista RC1搭配使用。[1]2007年2月，第一个正式版发行，并提供下载。[2]2007年6月，Windows Mobile设备中心提供了一个更新，以支持Windows Mobile 6。[3] 随着这个软件的推出，Pocket PC 2000以及Pocket PC 2002两个操作系统因而受到影响：它们将不再被Windows Vista提供原始的支持。[4] 不过，6.1版本推出后，那些设备将可以透过它来进行基本的链接功能。
某些其它版本的Windows操作系统，如Windows Server 2008等也能够使用Windows Mobile设备中心[5]，但是Windows XP等较旧的操作系统版本，却仍然只能使用Microsoft ActiveSync。

虽然Windows Vista内建了于Windows资源管理器中支持Windows Mobile设备的基本功能，[6] 但是Windows Mobile设备中心却能够使用类似向导的方式来引导用户自多个应用程式中集成所需要同步的文件。
内建于Windows Vista中的基本功能只能浏览设备、管理文件以及使用Windows Media Player来同步媒体文件。用户如果需要完整资料的同步化，包括Microsoft Office Outlook中的日历、电邮以及联络人等，就需要安装Windows Mobile设备中心来配合进行。[7] 但是，Windows Mobile设备中心却不支持同步Windows Mail、Windows日历、Windows联络人以及任何早于版本2003之Microsoft Office Outlook中的资料。当一个Windows Mobile的设备连接到电脑上时，该程序就会跳出一个窗口，并给予如同步音乐等有关管理该设备的选项。
使用Windows Mobile设备中心来查看设备可以透过蓝牙、USB以及串列端口等方式。但是，使用串列端口来链接设备的功能默认并不开启，并需要用户透过更改注册表才能开启。[8]
Windows Mobile设备中心能够同步以下资料：
- Microsoft Outlook 2003或更新的版本中PIM的资料（PIM同步功能不适用于Windows Mail、Windows日历、Windows联络人等）[8]
- Windows照片库中的图片
- Windows Media Player中的音乐以及影片
- Internet Explorer中的收藏夹
- Windows Explorer中的一般文件夹及文件
- Windows Mobile的程序或更新
64Bit兼容问题[编辑]
虽然微软有提供Windows Mobile设备中心的64bit版本,但却不能与Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 64bit版本同步并出现以下资讯,
“Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client”
同时Outlook更在第一次进行同步处理时把设备巳存的数据包括联络人、电邮和日历项目会从设备中移除。
目前 Windows Mobile设备中心的64bit版本目前只能跟Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 32bit版本同步, 而微软更指出未有打算更新Windows Mobile设备中心以支持Outlook 64bit版本.
