湯婷婷（Maxine Hong Kingston，1940年—）[1]，華裔美國女作家。生於加利福尼亞州史塔克頓，籍貫廣東新會。[2]
生平[編輯]
1958年入加州大學柏克萊分校進修工程學、英國文學。後任加州日落中學和夏威夷中學教師、夏威夷大學和密西根大學英國文學系教授。成名作是回憶錄式小說《女勇士》（The Woman Warrior: Memoirs of a Girlhood Among Ghosts，1976），融入了中國的故事傳統，獲美國《現代》周刊七十年代最佳作品獎。1989年發表的《孫行者》（Tripmaster monkey : his fake book）獲美國西部國際筆會獎[3][4]。
