陳省身獎章（英語：Chern Medal），是國際數學界設立的首個以華人名字命名的數學大獎[1]。該獎獎勵有傑出終生貢獻的數學家，獎勵數學研究的最高水平。陳省身獎章在國際數學家大會上頒發。

陳省身獎章以華人數學大師陳省身姓氏的英文拼寫Chern命名。陳省身獎章由國際數學聯盟和陳省身基金（Chern Medal Foundation，縮寫：CMF）共同設立，並在每四年舉行一次的國際數學盛會——國際數學家大會上頒發。
首屆陳省身獎於2010年在印度海德拉巴市舉行的國際數學家大會上頒發[1]。首屆得主是加拿大籍傑出數學家路易·尼倫伯格。
獎金與獎章[編輯]
陳省身獎章包括獎章一塊和一筆數目不菲的獎金。獎章正面為陳省身像，獎章反面為陳類的公式——代表陳省身數學的最高成就。獎金一共50萬美元，其中一半（合25萬美元）被要求得主投入其今後的數學研究或與數學相關的教育活動。獎金的剩餘一半（25萬美元）即獎予數學家個人。[2]
陳省身獎章的獎勵宗旨是「to be awarded to an individual whose lifelong outstanding achievements in the field of mathematics warrant the highest level of recognition」[2]。（授予一生數學成就卓著，應受最高稱譽者。）
陳省身獎章（2010年首次頒發）和菲爾茲獎（1936年首次頒發）、內萬林納獎（1982年首次頒發）、高斯獎（2006年首次頒發）並稱為國際數學家大會的四大獎項。
