Alesana （念法為：/ˈælɨs ˈænə/ Alice-Anna）[3]是一個來自美國北卡羅萊那州的搖滾樂團。成立於2004年，這個名稱是來自巴爾的摩一條叫做Aliceanna的街道。目前，他們是唱片公司Epitaph的旗下藝人，發行過一張EP、三張專輯。在專輯《On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax》的發行後，樂團就開始獲得廣大聽眾的支持，他們的音樂特色在於柔細聲音與強烈聲音的轉換，這些聲音甚至受到古典搖滾樂團的影響，如披頭四。
樂團歷史[编辑]
成軍與首張EP《Try This With Your Eyes Closed》[编辑]
正式成立於2004年十月，於北卡羅萊那州的樂團Alesana，團名源自馬里蘭州巴爾的摩市的街道「Aliceanna」。他們加入Tragic Hero唱片，三首Demo歌曲收錄在《All The Tragedy Money Can Buy》合輯中。[4]2005年發行首張EP《Try This With Your Eyes Closed》。
第一張專輯《On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax》[编辑]
2006年，他們改為雙吉他樂團，有了Adam Ferguson這個生力軍的加入，[5]發行第一張專輯《On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax》，歌曲源自希臘神話、歷史，立即登上美國告示牌Heatseekers榜第44名。年終之時，他們被Fearless唱片簽下，除了上一張作品重發以外，還拍攝首支MV《Ambrosia》。[6]
第二張專輯《Where Myth Fades to Legend》[编辑]
緊接著第二張專輯《Where Myth Fades to Legend》，基於格林童話、電視劇創作歌曲，登上美國告示牌200第96名。在《Warped巡演》中，加入Twelve Gauge Valentine吉他手Jake Campbell，原先是取代貝斯手Shane的暫時離團，但在其歸團後，卻因節奏吉他Adam Ferguson的離去，Jake以吉他手的繼續在團內。隔年一起錄製了MV《Seduction》、翻唱賈斯汀的《What Goes Around...Comes Around》，收錄在《Punk Goes Pop 2》。
第三張專輯《The Emptiness》[编辑]
2010年初，新專輯《The Emptiness》，不同以往，以片段的題材來寫歌，這次以整張專輯以愛倫·坡（Edgar Allan Poe）的詩Annabel Lee為概念的概念專輯，[7]，請來主唱的妹妹Melissa Milke、Fear Before的主唱Adam Fisher增加專輯的聽覺感受，還有大、小提琴的伴奏。這也使他們獲得網路雜誌Rock on Request的《最佳硬蕊/Screamo樂團》（Best Hardcore/Screamo Band）[8]
第四張專輯《A Place Where The Sun Is Silent》[编辑]
在上一張專輯大獲肯定後，他們透露等不及再創作這樣的概念專輯。後來吉他手Jake Campbell因為家庭因素離開樂團，來自Greeley Estates的Alex Torres，取代了他，這正好發生在2010年第一場《Warped巡迴》前，接著Alesana與Epitaph唱片公司簽約，今年三月與Kris Crummett再度進入錄音室，錄製他們的第四張專輯《A Place Where the Sun Is Silent》。[9]在《The All Stars巡迴》中，他們宣布專輯將於10月18日發行。[10]這張專輯的概念為但丁神曲。發行前夕，他們於音樂雜誌網站Alter The Press先行公開曲目《A Gilded Masquerade》[11]、《A Forbidden Dance》[12]、《Circle VII: Sins Of The Lion》[13]，最後上傳了全部曲目於該網站上。[14]十月至十一月，與A Skylit Drive、Sleeping With Sirens、Attila、Memphis May Fire、Serianna等樂團參與《Rock Yourself To Sleep英國巡迴》。十二月8日第四支MV《Lullaby Of The Crucified》釋出。[15]Alesana預計在2012年二月開始與羅馬叛客樂團（We Came As Romans）進行英國主場巡演，暖場樂團為熊抱哥樂團（Iwrestledabearonce）和Glamour of the Kill。[16]
