世界鸟类（Birds of the World，BoW）是一个在线鸟类学数据库，其内容整合改编自《世界鸟类手册》（Handbook of the Birds of the World）以及其他当代权威参考资料，包括《北美鸟类》（Birds of North America）、《新热带在线鸟类》（Neotropical Birds Online）和《世界鸟科》（Bird Families of the World）等[2]。该数据库由康奈尔鸟类学实验室出版并维护，它通过与eBird观鸟记录平台集成，收集鸟类观测数据[3]。
要查阅数据库中的大多数条目，用户需要付费订阅，不过该数据库向许多图书馆和鸟类相关机构提供机构访问权限，并作为出版方参与了国家信息标准组织的“共享电子资源理解”（Shared E-Resource Understanding）实践[4]。
世界鸟类数据库常被区域鸟类名录和分布图研究引用，或作为比较的参照点[5]，或直接作为数据来源[6][7][8]。
