[编辑]1971年，克里斯蒂娜·艾伯盖特出生于美国加利福尼亚州好莱坞，父亲罗伯特·威廉·「鮑伯」·艾伯盖特（Robert William "Bob" Applegate）是一个唱片制作人和唱片高管。[1] 她的母亲南希·李·普利迪（Nancy Lee Priddy），是一个演员和歌手。 她出生后不久，她的父母就分手了。 父亲再婚之后，她有两个同母异父的兄弟姊妹：艾丽莎（Alisa）和凯尔（Kyle）。而她妈妈和音乐家斯蒂芬史·蒂奥斯（Stephen Stills）再婚。[2][3]

[编辑]2001年與演員Johnathon Schaech結婚，於2007年離婚。[4] 2008年宣告自己得乳癌。[5]因為擔心癌細胞轉移及復發，她做了雙邊乳房切除手術。[6] 2008年開始與音樂家Martyn LeNoble交往，兩人於2010年結婚。[7]2011年生了一個女兒。[8] 2021年8月10日，她在推特發文表示於今年稍早確診多發性硬化症[9]，其後因治療艱辛，使劇集死生之交一度中斷拍攝。目前網飛預定於2022年播放死生之交最終季。
