2026年冬季奧林匹克運動會首次将滑雪登山运动纳入到正式比赛项目。[1]首届冬奥会滑雪登山比赛包括三个项目：男子短距离、女子短距离和混合接力。[2]男子个人赛和女子个人赛也曾被提议纳入正式比赛项目，但未被批准。[3][4]
