星链(Starlink),是太空服务公司SpaceX计划推出的一项通过低地轨道卫星群,提供覆盖全球的高速互联网接入服务。预计在2019年年底前,发射的卫星可完全覆盖北美大陆。在完成24次发射后, 可完全覆盖全個地球。

SpaceX计划在2020年代中期之前在三个轨道上部署接近12000颗卫星:首先在550千米轨道部署约1600颗卫星,然后是在1150轨道部署约2800颗Ku波段Ka波段英语Ka band卫星,最后是在340千米轨道部署约7500颗V波段英语V band卫星[1]。整个计划预计需要约100亿美元的支出[2]

2019年10月22日,SpaceX首席执行官埃隆·马斯克成功通過星链發送推特,並表示星链已能提供天基互联网服务[3]

The agency granted SpaceX market access in March 2018 for 4,425 satellites using Ku- and Ka-band spectrum, and authorized 7,518 V-band satellites in November. SpaceX’s modified plans apply to the smaller of the two constellations.
