[编辑]1973年，伊丽莎白出生于美国德克萨斯州的休斯顿，其父亲是黎巴嫩移民，[2] 她的母亲是英国、爱尔兰、德国和切罗基人的血统。[3] 她在贫民窟长大。[1] 在高中时，她感兴趣于网球运动，甚至考虑过从事专业的网球生涯，伊丽莎白曾在开始从事电影事业前曾是个模特。[4]
