绿巨嘴鸟属（學名：Aulacorhynchus，台湾作綠鵎鵼屬）是鴷形目鵎鵼科下的一個屬。[3]本屬物種均分佈於南美洲地區，目前下屬14個物種。[3]
命名歷史
[编辑]本屬為英國鳥類學家约翰·古尔德於1835年建立。[4]其模式種後續在1840年由英國鳥類學家喬治·羅伯特·格雷指定為沟嘴巨嘴鸟。[1][5]其屬名Andigena來自古希臘語的αὖλᾰξ（羅馬化：aulax，指皺紋、溝槽）及ῥύγχος（羅馬化：rhunkhos，指鳥喙）組合而成。[6]
