蘭卡斯特轟炸機(英語:Avro Lancaster)是英國二次世界大戰期間非常重要的戰略轟炸機之一,擔負對德國城市的夜間轟炸任務。在執行三處德國水壩的轟炸任務之後獲得水壩剋星Dam Buster)的暱稱。

歷史[编辑]

英國皇家空軍在1936年提出P.13/36雙發動機中型轟炸機的設計案,愛芙羅公司提出以勞斯萊斯設計的禿鷹24汽缸發動機為動力的設計案,被稱為曼徹斯特轟炸機。由於禿鷹發動機的測試過程相當不順,愛芙羅提議以4具勞斯萊斯的梅林發動機加上曼徹斯特的機體結合而成新的轟炸機。實際上,1941年1月試飛的第一架原型機的機身,中段與尾部都是直接使用曼徹斯特的結構。

設計特點[编辑]

機身結構[编辑]

其機身結構尚稱堅固,但其最大的缺點來自其設計上的問題。由於設計為負責晚間轟炸上(日間轟炸的傷亡率戰爭初期已經領教過),這型轟炸機並未裝設機腹炮塔(其實早期有,不過因為效果不大取消),對於下方來的敵機,無法反擊。德國空军(Luftwaffe)的夜間戰機部隊很快就就發現這項弱點。他們往往從後下方接近此型機,然後利用傾斜式機砲摧毀此轟炸機。不過總括來說,夜間難以發現對方,即使能夠,如果蘭開斯特的機槍手能夠提前發現,會避免開火及通知機長,然後機長會使用此型號較優越的機動性避開。在晚間,一旦脫離目視接觸,便很難發現對方。即使有雷達等手段,仍然需要看見才可以開始攻擊。在逃生方面,此型的逃生出口比較小,較難跳機逃生。但在炸彈承載量上可謂二戰中數一數二,高達9500Kg載彈量令她遠勝B-17和B-24,甚至略高於B-29。

勃朗寧機關槍(7.7)x8 分別位於機尾炮塔(x4),機背炮塔x2以及機鼻炮塔(x2) 後期機尾炮塔實驗性加裝雷達系統可自動追蹤,一般裝設在編隊尾的飛機上。

Mk I[编辑]

Mk I是蘭開斯特量產的第一型,使用梅林XX,22或者是24型發動機,一共生產3440架。

Mk I特別型[编辑]

改良自Mk I,用來攜帶超過12000磅(5443公斤)的炸彈。

Mk I(FE)[编辑]

Mk I的遠東區改良型。

Mk II[编辑]

這一型改用布里斯托大力士VI或者是XVI型發動機。一共生產320架。

Mk III[编辑]

改回使用梅林28、38或224型發動機。一共生產3020架。

Mk III特別型[编辑]

改良自Mk III,用以攜帶Upkeep水雷。

Mk VII[编辑]

將機身上方的馬丁炮塔與機尾的FM82炮塔調整位置,一共生產180架。

Mk X[编辑]

由加拿大勝利飛機公司生產,使用佩卡德生產的梅林38或224型發動機,一共出廠430架。

使用國家[编辑]

英國是二戰期間的使用國家,除了轟炸任務以外,也擔任電子干擾和海上巡邏等其他種類的任務。

法國在二戰之後使用蘭開斯特到1960年代為止。

阿根廷自英國購入少量蘭開斯特,成為他們唯一使用過的戰略轟炸機。
