English: Rotring S0214750 bow compass with Rapidograph 0.5 mm technical pen drawing 1.5–15 mm diameter circles. The minimum circle radius is smaller than 1.5 mm—it's largely determined by the width of the pen tip.
How this photo was made: The compass was standing on a acrylic plate, pressing down on the prepared circles on a piece of tracing paper. The mounted technical pen was empty to avoid a mess. The compass was held in place by pressing a plastic needle on the knob at the top, which was later removed. Black background achieved by a tent of black fabric. Lighting by diffused flashes left and right. Post-processing involved masking everything to make the BG pure black and recreating the satin surface to make it all look tidier.

Comment cette photo a été réalisée : Le compas était posé sur une plaque d'acrylique, appuyant sur les cercles préparés sur un morceau de papier calque. Le stylo technique monté était vide pour éviter un gâchis. Le compas était maintenu en place en appuyant sur une aiguille en plastique sur le bouton en haut, qui a ensuite été retirée. Fond noir réalisé par une tente de tissu noir. Éclairage par flashs diffus gauche et droite. Le post-traitement impliquait de tout masquer pour rendre le fond noir pur et de recréer la surface satinée pour que tout soit plus propre.
