尺蛾科（學名：Geometridae），又名尺蠖蛾科[1]，是鱗翅目尺蛾總科之下的其中一個有龐大成員的科，下計有3.5萬個物種[2]。幼蟲叫尺蠖，又名蝍𧑙（音同“即蹴”）。
語源[编辑]
尺蛾科的學名Geometridae來自希臘語，由「大地」（γη 或 γαια）與「量度」（μέτρων）組成，因為其幼蟲的移動形態就好像在丈量一樣[2]。
