Oophana是一個會呼吸空氣的樹生蝸牛的屬，是有肺類腹足綱軟體動物之下的柄眼類扭蝸牛科的成員[2][3]。本屬物種皆為肉食性[4]。本屬原為扭蝸牛屬的亞屬，其後獨立出來，之後陸續有其他屬從本屬再獨立出去；但2020年，Siriboon等人(2020)的研究發現Oophana屬物種仍然是多系群，所以本屬物種有可能會被重新歸類[4]。
