您好。这个民族在中国大陆是一个少数民族，就叫朝鲜族；在其他使用中文的地区也是这个名字。至于您说的韩民族，这是韩语的叫法。这里是中文维基百科，应当从中文用法。

Ethnic Koreans are an ethnic minority in Mainland China, and are called 朝鲜族. 韓民族 is the Korean name of the people. As we are now at Chinese Wikipedia, we ought to use the widely used Chinese name. Thanks.

According to《朝鲜族研究论丛（5）》，延边大学出版社 2001 年版 第 154 页，将境外朝鲜族一律使用“朝鲜民族”或将韩国朝鲜族直接使用“韩国人”指称，以示与中国朝鲜族的区别。

严格来说，韩国朝鲜族并不都是韩国人，也包括入籍的别国人。Koreans are not equal to Korean ethnicity in South Korea, as foreigners may acquire an ROK citizenship. 此外，朝鲜民族会让人误认为是北朝鲜的民族。
