公主病(越南语:bệnh công chúa;韩语:공주병罗马化:gong ju byeong)是一个在东亚东南亚地区流行的形容词。

指某些人行为娇纵,有问题总是归咎他人,缺乏责任感,互相伤害的症状[1][2]

原因[编辑]

据推测,该术语起源于亚洲四小龙在亚洲的崛起,其中快速的经济增长可能导致消费主义或物质主义态度的相应上升以及上层社会对子女的大量投资,他们随后可能会习惯于物质财富和家庭帮助。[3]

在中国大陆、香港、 澳门和台湾地区,低出生率意味着家庭往往只有独生子女,这是父母唯一精力的焦点[4]。在中国大陆,由此产生的现象,通常归因于以前的独生子女政策,被称为“小皇帝综合症”。直升机式育儿和家庭佣工的结合,允许中产阶级父母工作,可能会导致他们的孩子被宠坏[5]。香港收入差距的扩大,以及对民主和社会不平等的担忧,也反映了“精英”阶层的看法。[6][7]

此外,东亚的社会流动性主要基于个人和学术成就[8]。出于这个原因,父母可能会给孩子和他们的老师施加很大的学业压力,从而对孩子的学业进行微观管理以取得更高的成绩。[9][10]
