六疣蛛科（Hexathelidae）[1]，又可称为六纺蛛科，是六疣蛛总科（Hexatheloidea）下唯二的一个科，[2] 与长尾蛛科下的蜘蛛一起被称作“漏斗网蜘蛛”（funnel-webs），具有夜行性，而其中某些种的毒液可以威胁到人类生命。
分布[编辑]
其下大多数生物分布于澳大利亚、新西兰，有2个属分布于南美洲的阿根廷和智利。
六疣蛛科的生物主要生活在洞穴中，包括地穴和树洞。他们会在洞穴里织造蛛网以捕捉猎物，此外也常常把洞穴挖在人类的住所中这种蜘蛛多发现于雨林里。[3][4]
