凯莉·罗尔巴赫出生于纽约市，并于康涅狄格州格林尼治长大[4]。母亲安妮（Anne）的娘家姓为伍尔（Wholey），而父亲克莱·罗尔巴赫（Clay Rohrbach）则是名瑞士裔的金融家[5][6]。她曾就读格林尼治学院[7]。
罗尔巴赫为格林威治学院参加高尔夫球比赛，并为乔治城大学赢得运动奖学金，后也在乔治城大学持续打高尔夫球。她于2012年毕业于乔治城大学戏剧系，并就读了伦敦音乐与戏剧艺术学院[8]。

罗尔巴赫曾在多部电视剧中出演小角色，包括《另类家庭》（2013年）、《男人两个半》（2013年）、《妙女神探》（2013年至2014年）和《逍遥神医》（2014年）[8]。
在好莱坞工作了两年后，罗尔巴赫开始从事模特儿的工作[9]。她曾现身于盖璞的2014年假日营销活动，以及2015年的老海军牛仔裤活动[10]。2015年，她登上了《运动画刊》的泳装特辑，并被评为“年度最佳新秀”[11]。
罗尔巴赫于2016年1月加入电影《海滩游侠》的演出，并在片中饰演C·J·帕克一角，该片改编自1989年同名电视剧，并定于2017年5月25日在美国上映[3]。2017年9月11日，她加入伍迪·艾伦执导电影《纽约的一个雨天》的演出[12]；在此前，她也曾在艾伦的《咖啡公社》中饰演一名未挂名的角色[7]。
